I believe that the causes of our pain aren’t always the obvious ones. Sometimes we need to look deeper and cast our nets wider as we search for answers. I’ve learned that people have an uncanny, unintentional way of storing their mental and emotional pain in their physical bodies. If the WHOLE person (mind-body-energy field-Soul) is not addressed, then there is no treatment that will bring true and lasting relief. This is why I treat holistically and integrate an array of energetic, physical and cognitive disciplines into my practice. We are all wildly unique, and our treatment must reflect this truth. There is no one size fits all approach to healing.

I believe that our bodies are the megaphones for our souls. They’re our internal guidance systems and are communicating with us all the time. Their guidance is delivered in a soft and gentle whisper, easily drowned out by the noise of our minds and the busyness of our lives. When we don’t listen, our Souls turn to the currency of our bodies to get our attention. Embodied messages through pain, illness, physical suffering and disability reach out like a Mack truck and grab our attention in a way we just can’t ignore. Take it from me, this is not a good place to be. My wish for everyone is that we all start listening NOW and honor the exquisite wisdom of our Soul’s intelligence BEFORE the volume gets turned up.

I believe in the power of hands on healing. I believe in unwinding and clearing the deeply embedded pain + old stories + trapped trauma that holds us hostage. I also believe in the power of conscious listening and kind and fearless conversation. Anchoring grounded and unbiased healing presence has the power to awaken awareness, illuminate hidden beliefs, and create space for profound transformation + freedom .

I believe that underneath it all, every single one of us is perfect. But sometimes in the process of living life, our light gets covered up and we forget who we are. As we heal, we reclaim our inner space, remember our innate perfection, and start living into our true and loving Self. My greatest desire is that every single person know themselves this way. Understanding like this has the power to change not only our lives, but the whole world as well.

I believe that through the practice of intentional therapeutic yoga we can release stuck energy, unwind dysfunction and re-align with our peaceful, wise and loving essence. When we know ourselves this way, we come into greater balance inside and out. The wisdom of our practice pours into our lives, embedding equanimity and consciousness into all the corners of our Being. We will thankfully never be the same for it.
